A/C radiator needed

Hi,
Anyone have one in good nick, or know where i can get one for a reasonable price, MKII rev5 turbo.

Anyone know the part number or how much they cost at main dealer?

i could do with one of these too (but for rev3 n/a)

i fear with may have to buy new, but unsure where cheapest is (most i've found are silly money)

They are silly price new... you can get them from the US there was a group buy a while back.

Yea i am going to try Toyota Dallas, they came up with good price for Tbar seals...

I've just bought a new AC Condenser and AC Drier (it's recommended that you change the drier every few years or if re-gassing the system). I bought Denso parts, as they manufacturer the OEM parts for Toyota and are a lot cheaper. I've already fitted the parts and can confirm they are exactly the same.

If you do a Google search for these part numbers you'll find sellers in the US.

477-0534 DENSO Condenser
478-0500 DENSO A/C Receiver Drier

Yes the OEM Toyota part numbers are the same on all models and revisions.

Hold off for a short while, i work for a heat exchanger company and am waiting for a price on the core matrix. I sent my old unit as a sample to a company who make the cores today. Should be a lot cheaper than getting from the US and will be a direct replacement!

Also they ain't the same. Rev1-2 are and rev3 onwards are.

R12 to r134 gas.

The EPC lists the same part numbers for all revisions.

The seals and compressors are different to accommodate the changes in gas. No reason for the condensor to be.

Got the price back today to make them in the UK and its not good news, £195! It was worth a try.
Best option is the US

Sorry to revive an old thread

But, can anyone point me in the direction of anywhere else to look for a condensor from the US? Best ebay is about £170 posted, none on amazon.

I got a new oem rev3 one from Toyota. £350.
