Okay a bit impromptu this, but we were supposed to do a British Eight Six day on the 8th June. Yes I know it's properly on the 6th August, but any excuse really.
This nearly didn't happen but we're out tomorrow.
Right so for tomorrow how about meeting at the Ponderosa at 11:30 for a 12:00 set off ?
Then along Martins route on the googlemap with a divert round the evo triangle?
https://mapsengine.google.com/map/edit? ... bddvHWpWZQ
1. Starts at Ponderosa http://www.ponderosacafe.co.uk LL20 8DR,
2. drive to the car park at the go kart track LL21 0RU.
3. Do a lap of the triangle with photo ops, meet back at the go kart track
4. Head off along Martins route to Mold
I just want to make sure that we do at least celebrate a proper UK 86 day
Some of us are meeting at M56 Chester Services McDonald's from 10am till 10.40 or so then on to the Ponderosa Cafe.
If anyone fancies it, please coming along.

Re: Tomorrow! North 8th June North Wales drive out. Martin's route
It turned out to be a fab day out. The weather played ball and the roads were quiet for the most part. We did a couple of laps of the EVO Triangle.
It was simply epic! Brilliant route. Thanks Martin. This time round we really had a good play and had lunch at Lake Brenig visitor centre which is not a bad place to stop. I really got two clear runs at the 'triangle' and got the chance to push on a fair old bit on the second time round. The road is just mega, lots of crests, dips, a real challenge and some very, very fast corners. Wicked fun!
