Northwest Cars & Coffee - 18 May

Post by Big_Martin »

The idea is fairly simple:

The Meet

Costa Coffee, Cheshire Oaks (CH65 9HD) from 8.30am on Sunday 18 May. All very civilised and friendly. Chat to like-minded people over a coffee (other beverages are available) and pastry, have a look at some nice cars.

There’s a big car park right outside the door and the shops don’t open until 11am (except Costa, which is open at 8.30). That gives us a couple of hours for chatting and tyre kicking.

The Drive

Taking this route from Costa and ending up at Tesco in Mold. From there, it's pretty easy to get to a motorway and get home (or whatever :) ).

Here's a slightly uninteresting video of some bits of the route : http://youtu.be/_iaIcvxbWgo

I'll knock together some directions sheets (and maybe even a sat nav route for those with Garmin BaseCamp) with stopping points marked on them in case we get split up.

If you have one, a walkie talkie is great for banter and keeping the group together! Set it to channel 4. :thumleft:

I'm really looking forward to this, and hope others are too. If there is enough interest, I'll look to do it maybe three times a year. :thumleft:

Cheers

We've got a BBQ at Neil's the preceding night, so might be touch and go. But I would like to catch up with everyone, it's been a while!
