Been working on a mr2 recently that had the wiring all butchered.
I managed to wire up the wires to the iso plug for the cd player.
When you turn the ignition the radio comes on then goes off again after about 5seconds.
Any pointers?

Are any of the wiring touching each other!
Or could be the ground to the headunit is not good!
Do you have an amp installed?

Connected the red and yellow together to make a constant live
