My" twin cam 16 turbo " strips are all faded so I bought some stickers off of flea bay to pop over the top and freshen up the strips but to my disappointment the type face is too small.
Has anyone else had this problem and have maybe a link to a seller that does have a slightly larger typeface that overlays the strips perfectly?
Thanks
Pete

Which seller was it?
There is a chap on here called Alan that does decals and he measured his up from his original strips: http://www.decalfever.co.uk/webpages/mr2toyota.html
You might be better just swapping the mouldings for plain ones and applying the decals to those as it will be a b1tch getting them to line up exactly otherwise

We can get them to line up if they are the right size

Cheers JD I will pick some up off of that chap worth a gamble for a few quid

Bought some thanks JD

Just polish the originals up. The lettering is protected by lacquer so polish away!
Re: correct twin cam 16 turbo stickers?
Or sell them to me; it'd be nice to have some originally lettered-up side mouldings

The original stickers are sealed behind clear coat. They shouldn't have faded and you can polish the strips up well.

The bodyshop who resprayed my car have buffed right through the lacquer on a few letters of the sidestrips Good to know where I can get replacement stickers though

I would prefer to just respray them and then add alans stickers on anyway. You can choose cool colours like matte black
Re: correct twin cam 16 turbo stickers?
Hi all, bringing back an old thread here. So one side I have the full lettering and the other side I only have half as the sills have been resprayed and doesn't look like they took the original decals into consideration.
How do you get them to go exactly over the old ones? Is it just a matter of take your sweet time?
