Mk2 on stands in front garden, unpainted Veilside front bumper

Seen another MR2 when you were out and about? Find out if it was another IMOCer here.

Mk2 on stands in front garden, unpainted Veilside front bumper

Post by JD »

Okay at the bottom of my road there has been a Mk2 in various states just sitting in a front garden for a few years now. That is sad but it looks like a project that someone just lost interest in. I suppose I could have wandered down and said hello but never mind, I thought I may as well post a spotted thread as I don't like to bother people and I've never seen anyone around when walking past. I remember seeing it out on the road just once a few years ago before I had one.

Tell him there's a veilside rear bumper for sale by me, great condition ;)

may spur him on to finish it off!

Is that just at the top of the A3, if so I saw at there at least 2 years ago, looking pretty unfinished and sorry for itself

I might do. Or I could just start taking posts off it as I go past ;-)

We must be thinking of different cars but it's a shame to note that there's another one probably bound for breakage/scrap.

I noticed that in the last couple of weeks this has now gone after what was possibly over a decade of complete neglect and been replaced with an MG F. I think I'd have preferred to keep the dead 2

I used to see one that had been left in someones garden to rot.

There is a 3 series BMW around the corner from me that is growing green stuff.

I just don't get it.
