induction kit

ok i've read all the emails
i run a 1990 (built oct 1989) low mileage car
do i fit an induction kit
(K & N 57-0120) or not?

mr2 virgin (nearly)

Its up to you of course!

Well i've got one (K&N) and i really like it. Air filters never give you a significant power gain if we are honest, but if you have a K&N on the throttle body, it does sound very nice once the TVIS opens up and roars at the redline.

I guess it makes the car feel a bit more sporty without being overly intrusive in day to day driving. With a magnex exhaust its a nice combination IMO.

Dead easy to fit an induction kit too. I did mine in 20minutes in the dark.

Just put a K&N 57 on mine this morning - dead easy job!

Agreed with L's comment about no discernable power increase, but the sound is much sweeter!

It was the first job i ever did on an MR2 and it was dark.

Think it took about 10mins when i did it to my latest aqquisition. ;)
