speedo cable needed please

Glad i've found this board, seems to be the only british mk1 forum out there!!

I hope you can help me, i need a speedo cable and am hoping some-one here has got one for sale?

if not do you know where i could try to find one? tried my local breakers yards with no joy, and toyota want £100!!!

Hi,

There are few people scrapping MR2's on eBay. Try contacting one of these guys - I managed to get a perfect boot lid this way.

Plenty of Mk1s being broken here, ebay and mr2oc.co.uk. You might be able to get a cheap alternator as well, did you get round to checking the voltage?

Crazylegs might have one as well, if not I'll ask Eddie.

i'm giving the car a service today limey! just given it a good clean inside and out and will be getting my hands dirty asap.

If any of those people you mentioned have got a spare for sale then i'd appreciate it if you let them nkow i was after one!

leave it with me ,i just happen to have a mk1 on axle stands in my front garden at the mo. i`ll take it off for you tomorrow and see what its like.i think its nearly new as this car was my pride and joy prior to the bump.if its crap i`ll tell you that as well.i have thrown stuff away that you see on ebay advertised as excellent !!
