Due to expansion and much need for more space, on 1st October SBITS is moving to new, larger premises.

More than 3 times the size of current workshop, this will enable large jobs e.g. transplants to be completed in much shorter times. I will also have the space to build a clean room for engine and gearbox assembly.

Located 11 miles from our current premises, less than 15 minutes drive.

Lots to do before end of the month:

Full address will be:

Unit 45
Wharncliffe Industrial Estate
Station Road
Deepcar
South Yorkshire
S36 2UZ

Landline will be transferred across shortly after moving in, and mobile phone will naturally remain unchanged.

It's been a fork lift training co. before, so floor is perfectly clean. Planning on painting it in next 7-10 days.

Size is 2200sqft.

Nice one Pete. Glad you've got sorted. [thumleft]

Such a bigger/better place than current standings!

I'll gladly help out with some trips too/from when I next come up.

I should think so since a) your car will be the first in, and b) you'll have BOTH your cars in all Winter! [Laughing]

I have it on good authority there is a cafe on site that serves particularly good bacon sandwiches. [Very Happy]

No matter how large or far away the new unit is I can't see that ever happening [Mr. Green] [Laughing]

I look forward to seeing the new place up and running.
If I find myself a bit further up north for whatever reason during the move I will happily lend a hand [thumleft]

I look forward to seeing pictures of freshly painted unit walls and floors. Your new shiny engine hoist will fit in perfect there [thumleft]
