best looking mk3 ??

Post by paul_h »

right lets get one thing out of the way, the mk3 is a girls car !! there I said it :D

After leaving the mr2 scene a few years ago and buying a supra I have decided to return and fancy the more nible mk3 this time.

The car will be a weekend car and used for trackdays too but being old and male I cannot drive one in its standard looking state

so, If I am to buy one I need it to look more agressive and less like its my wifes car. What is everyones favourite looking mk3 without it looking like a chavved up plastic shed :)

One of the genuine GT300s. Only 2-3 about though!
I do see them on yahoo Japan on and off though.

I'd go with Monocraft, too.....! :thumleft:

Veilside Fortune kit looks well suited, but has that "I wanna be a Porsche Boxster"- look to it....?! :?

Veilside kits are all, without any exception, utterly fugly.

Personally I'm not so keen on the Monocraft kit as it's too 'boxy' for my taste and the mk3 is quite a svelte car, so I'll go with the TTE extra bits on a standard car, with a TRD rear spoiler and a black hardtop, like this:

I like the Fortune 01 kit. Here it is on my road car:

...and on my race car:

We actually produce a version of this kit, and it's a *lot* cheaper than the secondhand set on eBay at the moment.

Forgot to mention we also do this, which is a blend of OE Toyota bodykit and Rogue Motorsport wide arches:

It's not available as a kit, it's something we put together in house.

The side skirts and front lip are Toyota, the arches are Rogue. The bonnet vents came from eBay!
