south central meet 29th jan

Post by badgerbob »

I have taken this idea from another forum which seemed quite a success, hopefully something that can re-vitalise the south a little :th:

£1 entry - winner takes all :)

the rules - this involves getting you all to go out for a drive and get the brains working (or google). There will be a list of pictures/subjects provided on the day from myself to which you must locate and photograph evidence that you have found said items from wherever you may choose :D .(should mention i will be making teams so that everyone has a bit of company on there scavenge), Each picture will be worth a certain amount of points, the team with the most points wins....sounds simple :D

But!

I cant express this enough....BRING A CAMERA OR CAMERA PHONE!!! Please have one with a screen size visible or decent quality phone.

I think that explains it easily enough lol, any questions fire away :th:

meet location is yet to be decided although plan for portsmouth/southampton for the time being (need to confirm with mick)

for this to work we are going to need a decent turnout to make a good day of it so please pass on word and get your names listed below (friends of mr2 owners welcome also).....first event of the year peeps so come on....who's in :yahoo:

1) badgerbob
2) Limeymk1

I'd be up for this for sure, though not in an MR2 as it is still awaiting its front end rebuild.

Accomodation available at my place. :thumleft:

Think you could hold your lunch down long enough to co-pilot in the truck? I have sea-sickness tablets.

Room for a third?
I asked God for a bike, but I know God doesn't work that way. So I stole a bike and asked for forgiveness.

Yep that’s it.

As for the Impreza Wagon as soon as a nice one turns up. Sadly as much as I love the mk1 I need a bigger more practical car and can’t afford to keep the Mk1 and another car and run a motorbike all together. So if you know anyone who want a well cared for low mileage Mk1 with no rust and all original bodywork let me know since rather sell to a loving home.
