Toms kit (now rev2 tubby)

Post by philmr2 »

A bit off a build history and update,

after buying a cheap set off toms sideskirts and starting to do a test fit i realised a lot off filler in places was required as the first pic will show.Image

after many hours of fettling on both sides the finished result was quite pleasing

[/img]Image

After a break from working on the car i did a swop with stacie on the site my mongoose for his japspeed it instantley changed the look of the rear end.

Image

But i then decided that the rear pp spats that i modded and fitted didnt look right with the exhaust, so after a couple off weeks hunting on the good old ebay i found a front bumper and a rear bumper on 2 seperate auctions,

So heres the next job to do and a lot more fettling in the workshop i think,

Thankyou looking forward to getting the complete kit on, many swear words required when fitting as fitment is not the best but will be when finished

lower'd the car 40 mm on spax springs but still not happy with the drop at the back end,

And had the wheels refurbed and painted white,

A little bit more work done on the car today, i was dreading the fitment of the rear toms bumper but it actualy went hassle free. just needs a little filler under the rear triangles other than that A1 fitment :D
Image

Still with daylight left i turned to the scoop, alot more hassle to fit than the bumper after 2 or so hours of fettling it is now on and no rubbing issues

Image

So all in all a great day had for me :D
