Lots of money is the main ingredient
Big turbo, big cooling, big fuelling, added strength and something to keep the electronics in order.... £££££££££'s

Re: 500bhp!!!
Not a simple task - your first big proble is the AFM, you'll need to do away with that.
Big turbo, injectors, fuel pump, forged internals, serious cooling, Decat, exhaust, engine management and a whole lot of dyno time. For that kind of work you'll need to invest around £15 - £20K me thinks...
Big brakes might be an idea too!
Speak to Andy F or Jonno and see what they have to say about it! Its not so glamorous 400+!!
Matt.

Re: 500bhp!!!
Speak to the Fensport boys as they have managed a serious amount of power from the 3SGTE.
I'm not trying to dissuade you at all, but it will cost you a serious amount of money and even then it may not be that reliable.

Re: 500bhp!!!
Depends on how handy you are - I'd recon if doing the work yourself.
Engine - pistons, rods, cams, cam gears, machine work and gasket kit etc - 2k
EMS - 1k
Fuelling - 700
Cooling - 600
Turbo kit - 1,800-2k
Clutch - 400
Intake manifold (if starting with a rev 1/2) - 500-1200
So - I'd say 7-8k in total if you do the work yourself and import all the parts.
If shopping from Fensport - double that price for parts alone.
