[Mk1 NA] New pics taken just a short while ago

Post by stevenb »

Took some new pics today of the MK1.
It now has all the trim stickers fitted. New Eagle badge. New 'TOYOTA' badge. It also has a K&N induction kit fitted. (Cheers for the inspiration Lauren  )
I'm really pleased that it's turned out well. [-o< :D
I have updated my garage with some new pics.
I have a few tasters for you anyway.
Hope you like them.

Thanks Leigh.
TBH I just wiped over the hoses with a cloth.....they were only dusty. The car had the very best treatment before I bought it luckily so a quick wipe around sorted them. Where there was grease on the body in the engine bay I used GUNK and then rinsed and buffed up. This mk1 is way better than my old one and I paid £300 less....

This is why I'm so happy. I never had to use any special stuff at all the clean the engine. It's been so well looked after that I literally ran a rag over it and wiped it all off. Car has been garaged all it's life.

Glad you all like the pics and thanks for the compliments. it makes it all the more worthwhile.... :D

I love my car to bits....

My car has come a long way since JAE. i did the trim stickers all myself for less than £6 and they look almost spot on to the OE ones. I was well lucky with that result.

Looking *much* more tidy than my Sherwood - but at least it should be running again soon, just sorted a new alternator for it :)

One thing though - I thought only the later cars got the aero kit fitted? My Sherwood doesn't have it.

You mean the side skirts?
I spoke to Paul about this at JAE and he said he's seen genuine C plate mk1a's with them on. Must have been an optional extra. They've always been on this car as I asked the lady when I bought it off her.....she has been the owner since it 1st rolled off the forecourt.
