Changing the Heater Matrix - the easy way!

Post by Icsunonove »

Thanks to some pioneering work by Lauren, there is now an easy way to change a heater matrix.

The traditional way is to remove the whole dashboard which I believe takes about three or four hours (is that right Lauren?).

Lauren had problems with hers at the same time as me and she came up with a cunning plan:

Why not make a neat cut-out in the front boot and take the heater matrix out that way?

Well it works brilliantly and doesn't take long at all.

I've done a drawing of the cutout and I can email it as a pdf.

Hope this helps someone else

Best regards, Tom

I should remind/tell people about the knowledge base:

Annoyingly the pics seemed to have dissapeared, but hopefully you get the idea.
