Hey people,
as designated liason between the two forums, I've made the effort to translate the www.mr-zwo.de website for you in the hope, that it may make registering and understanding the costs easier [Very Happy] If you have any further questions feel free to ask. Here goes:

TOYOTA MR2 MEET DUDERSTADT 2010

30.07 - 01.08.2010

An important notice upfront:

1) All participants who enter their names in the entry list must transfer the appropriate fee between the 6th and the 20th of july. The account number can be found below.

2) The entrance fee is the same as last year

3) All participants must wear an armband (kind of like all inclusive really [Mr. Green] ) during the duration of their stay. This is the only viable method for us to see who is participating and who has paid.

A REQUEST!!
Please read the following carefully! It should cover any questions you may have.

The entrance fee (what you get for your money)

Friday:
All drinks in the evening and the use of the sanitary facilities including showers is included

Saturday:
Breakfast, the use of the sanitary facilities including showers, all drinks in the evening and a BBQ (including the much discussed salad [Wink] ) are included.

Sunday:
Breakfast and the use of the sanitary facilities including showers are included.

TOTAL COST:

Friday thru Sunday:
For anyone taking part over the whole weekend the cost is €64.00 per person.

For those staying in hotels who nevertheless wish to eat and drink with us the cost is €59.00 per person. For those staying in hotels who nevertheless wish to eat and drink with us without the breakfast option the cost is reduced to €49.00 per person.

Saturday thru Sunday:
Those only taking part on Saturday and Sunday pay €43.50 per person.

For those staying in hotels from Saturday to Sunday who nevertheless wish to eat and drink with us on Staurday and have breakfast on Sunday pay €39.50 per person. Without the breakfast option on Sunday the cost is reduced to €37.00 per person.

All those staying in hotels are obviously responsible for the payment of all fees incurred in the hotel [Exclamation]

REGISTRATION

Please fill out the following form: http://mr-zwo.de/anfrage.php .
All fields are mandatory!

PAYMENT:

Please transfer all fees (20.07.2010 at the latest!) to:

Mario Schröter
Acc No. 110 110 21
Bank No. 260 612 91
Volksbank Eichsfeld Northeim e G
BIC: GENODEF 1DUD
IBAN: DE86 2606 1291 0011 0110 20
Reason for transfer: **Enter your nick**

ANOTHER IMPORTANT THING TO NOTE:

As in previuos years, anyone wishing to show their vehicle in the pedestrian zone must pay a fee of €2.50 per vehicle. This covers all costs incurred with the local council and allows us to break some rules [Wink] . We hope you understand why this has to be.
All vehicles that have paid will receive a sticker.
PLEASE DO NOT TRANSFER THIS SUMM TOGETHER WITH THE ENTRANCE FEE! The money will be collected and you will receive your sticker on site.

NO ENTRY FEE PAYMENTS IN CASH ON THE DAY WILL BE ACCEPTED!

Go here: http://mr2-forum.de/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=54417 to see who else has signed up.

Wow that was quite a bit [Very Happy] I hope it doesn't come across to beaurocratic!! I did ad lib a bit because us germans tend to write things as orders [Mr. Green] but not so much as to take out the meaning.

Greets from Germany

Mark

Yeah why not! I've driven over to my friends place before which is just to the south east of Plauen... it's doable in a day just about, if you get up early. Probably 3 or 4 tanks of fuel? You get to say you have driven through 5 countries in one day as well [Wink]

Thats where the Pro Plus and the Red Bull kick in!

Done these times when i drive to Austria (A1 Ring), Germany (Hockenheim) and Hungary (Hungaroring) and its not that bad.

Will check other times anyway. I think 8 hrs is a bit conservative. I reckon 5-6.

Would be rude not to Mike... [thumleft]

I have checked my diary and I am 100% up for this. [thumleft]

So lets get a list going. We can then look at firm costs and times for the ferry crossing etc.

Euro brakedown cover is cheap as chips and would be essential on any of our cars given their age! Those who have slightly later cars can use Tesco brakedown cover (covers cars up to 16yrs old) which is provided by Green Flag and they have a 15 day package IIRC. Or if you're insured with Sky they have a product with no age limit [thumleft]

The thing that's a pain in the ar$e is that if you are travelling to Germany you need to have a first aid kit, high viz jacket and fire extinguisher in your car.

Just checked for ferry crossings again...and those exact ones i posted up in my first post are now £49 each way!!! WTF?????
Checked other options and there is a £79 return Dover > Boulogne with LD Lines.
Wonder if the price hike has something to do with this poxy ash cloud??

And as for hi viz, first aid etc etc....i carry all that anyway...! [thumleft]
