Would anyone be interested? If we can get 10 peeps, we can get a stand which should be doable?

Stu, there is a thread running in 'Event's on this...well, when i say running...just the one post.
http://www.imoc.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=112773

You want to take up the organising on this one?

Oh..and you can get a BBQ in the Frunk of a Mk2...i bought one from B&Q last year...fits perfectly...you just need to sacfifice the spare wheel. :thumleft:

You want to move this thread over to the 'Events' section now as well seeing as you have firm interest?

Hi all... A little unsure about which thread to post this in so as this was the most popular of the two I thought I should post here!

Update!

The show is getting bigger by the day so I thought I’d pop in and give you an update!

Loads of clubs have lists of names growing by the day and booking forms are coming in!

The Funfair is going to be a little bigger than expected with a few rides and amusements for both adults and kids including the ever favourite Dodgems!

Latest news is that there will be a professional stage with 4 or 5 live bands playing throughout the day!!

RE Worx will be bringing along their Dyno for power runs!

There will be a show & shine contest with lots of top prizes and trophy’s sponsored by Autoglym, Gem Grafix.& DS Automotives. Show & shine details and booking forms are all online.

The newly revamped Redline magazine will be covering the show and giving it a full magazine feature!

Also the event is now open to Japanese Bikes and will include a Bike catagory in the show & shine contest!

All of this will be in addition to lots of trade stands, great food and drink and much more!

Here are a couple of shortcuts to useful pages:

Club Bookings

Show & Shine

Getting There, Where to stay & FAQ

If you’re at Japfest I’ll try and get over to say hello and introduce myself!

If anyone has any questions at all about the event please feel free to drop me email and I'll get back to you ASAP - [email protected]

Cheers,
Rob.

How do Chaps,
I'm trying to get this off the ground over on the mk1 club site and I have mentioned it on the MR2OC as well.
As Jaspa mentioned, in his first post, we need to get 10 cars minimum to qualify for a club stand of sorts. It seems, on the face of it, none of the MR2 clubs are going to manage to get enough interest on there own to make this happen. I was wondering if we could all get together on this one and see how things shape up.
Do we still have any takers over here?

Cheers
