Toyota power run - Revivals

Post by omracing »

The rolling road at Revivals is now up and running and they can accommodate us in either February, March or April. I thought we could incorporate this with a MR2 run, as the rolling road is in Thriplow near to Duxford airfield.

There are several ways to get there, so we don't only have to use the motorways. If anyone is interested in seeing what figures their car produces, then can you please reply back to me so I can start making a probable list of cars.

The club has some fantastic cars and I'm sure we can get this written up for the MR2 club mag. We can then decide on a date convenient to most and I will confirm the price, it is likely to be in the £35 range. Nearer the time we can decide on a route.

Just moving this thread over to 'Events Discussion'. When a date is firmed up, start a new thread in the 'Events' section and put a link to the discussion thread. It then keeps all the chatter in one place and all the event details and people going in another. :thumleft:

Good response already.
It is likely to be March or April, but I know they are busy in March (start of the race season)

Quick question what car does Mel drive ?

April would be better more cars will be out of winter hibernation is this just going to be a dyno run of power or will there be the opportunity to apply tweaks and some small tuning too :thumleft:

Tiny I'm sure we can sort something out, what tweaks were you thinking about ? I would suggest anyone wanting something a bit more would go on last.

Jaspa apologises I was only guessing, as you probably assumed I went by your listed car. #-o You could always bring both ? I'm hopefully going to have both my Mk1s there.

It will be interesting to see the two Mk1 1.5 turbos up against each other. Who did your conversion ?

I need to update my garage as I sold the rev3 turbo. Now have 2mk1s and a mk2 turbo.

I'm doing the conversion at the moment. Won't be silly power, just stock rev1 power hopefully, but the RR will confirm if it is healthy
