Yet Another Coup For The Mk1 Club

Im going to London on Thursday, been approached by Polydor Records to shoot an album cover featuring my Mk1 its for & up & coming group called La Roux have no idea of their music or wheather i'll like it, but what the hell it'll get the mk1 noticed , gonna take some pics of the day & get them in the club mag, Jinxy

Tiny, mk1 is already highly polished & in mint condition with a cover over it all tucked up nice & warm thanks anyway fella
Kate, not sure weather its in Hammersmith or Camden yet, but it will be in a studio with lights etc so the car will look amazing , Jinx

Fantastic. It seems that red ones get so much press that I am excited it is a blue one. And yours looks so good, the best Mica blue one I have seen.

Yep i said that to Polydor, but apparently they wanted a dark mk1 for photographic reasons

Mike, they phoned Pete Kyte, not sure how they got his number , but they needed a dark mk1 & superb condition & someone who lived fairly close to London & who could make it during the daytime, He put them straight onto me, as it happens i mentioned that i have experience as an Extra & she said it was a huge bonus as she wouldnt have to go through the do's & donts whilst on set & as i work in a safety critical enviroment at work this saved her going through all that as well, Since yesterday ive been in contact with them quite a bit & been really accomodating regarding times etc & they said that they have added my name to their register, this means that if they ever need another car they can get in touch & i can always pass this on to another member if i cant make it, ive said that in the not too distant future we will have a "Press pack " that we will send them with all the information on available cars & contact numbers for people in the club to save them the need to trawl through the net for info yet another job for Wayne when the website is up & running gotta keep you busy Wayne , Jinxy
