How big is BIG?

Post by Rogue »

So, sometimes people say to me: "Hey Rogue, I hear you've got some big ideas for the MR2 Roadster. But just how big are they?"

And I say: "They're this big:"

Image

So they say: "Sure, that's pretty but how big is it? I need some kind of context"

And I say: "Well, they're about this tall..."

Image

"...and about this wide:"

Image

And then they go on to say things about handling and tyre prices and the speedo being about 9.6% out and I put my fingers in my ears and say:

"la-la-la-la-la-la-can't-hear-you-la-la-la-la-la"

I'm not quite that brave! The wheels in the pictures are the rears at 19x10.

I'm looking for a reliable supplier for black elastic bands... Hopefully at least these wheels will be visible in the arches - the old 18x7's didn't fill them out as much as I'd hoped:

Lovely wheels Patrick, if you need me to bed them in while you transform the toy into something more aggressive I'm happy to fit them to my car ;)

I was very close to getting a set myself but went practical and opted for boring bits instead..... do you have an ETA on the car being ready?

Glad your coming up to Thor :D

Chaps - do you know if Thor are fully booked up on Sat?

I could do with getting my SAFC fitted and setup, I suspect it's too short notice though :)

Maybe I'll give them a bell, need to get booked in sometime anyway, just thought it would make a more interesting day out.

They do look V bling though and are lighter than you'd think. Can't wait to see his face when he kerbs them!!!!
