I know the Veilside kit on a red car is not everyones cup of tea but I thought you might like to see it.

The photo isn't very good and doesn't show how much it shines 8) but here you go anyway:

It looks very nice, I have a white MR2 and am looking to buy a kit in the near future...

So how much did you pay in all, cost of kit, delivery, spray and fitting?

Lookin' good mate, did you have any trouble fitting the kit? I found alot needed modding to fit.

Yeah it needed loads of modding to get it to fit.
- Front Bumper = 1" short where it connects with the wing.
- Rear Bumper = Perfect.
- Side Skirts = Too short and twisted, needed cutting and relining.
- Spoiler = Holes in the wrong places, needed relining up.
- Overall = Not enough fixing brackets, doesn't make good use of the original fixings.

Having said this the biggest problem with cheap kits is "wavey" panel and this one is very straight. Very very very good value for the price. I would recommend it.

Yeah, i got mine from those guys, and found pretty much the same work was needed, but i'm more than happy with the result and value for money, as a mate fitted and sprayed it for me.

So only the rear bumper was perfect ? and yet you still recommend it :? The fact that it cost £2500 to fit and spray says a lot for the quality of the kit IMO.

Ah, but mine only cost me £400 to fit and spray. Yes a fair bit of work was needed to fit it, but for me it only cost £950 all in. I think it's the same with all cheaper moulded kits, not many manufactured like this will fit straight away.

WOW that is cheap! Its nice to have a friend who paints cars.

Actually I quoted you wrong, it what £2000 for fitting and painting so £2500 all in. Not as cheap as yours though!!!!!

That looks really nice Toni 8)

The mirrors make quite a big difference don't they! Think I remember seeing that advertised, did you sell it sometime last year? (03)

I'm sure I remember looking at the ad, MR2 white, veilside, 'oh' I thought. Then the location popped up! Seemed great! But then decided modding from standard would be more fun.

Yeah sold it about a year ago now, to a nice chap in Bristol (quite mature, don't think he's that into computers so probably not in any forums).

I miss it...but did get something slightly interesting instead...!
