i went to pick up a new windscreen wiper arm (due to my car being the victim of chav abuse) and the guy behind the parts counter took all the details of my car, including model number and reg,

and then asked...:

"is the windscreen wiper arm for the back window?"

Should have told him yes and asked for them to fit it for you.

I considered doing something like that before and watching them scratch their heads - however I then considered that they would probably glue it on to the engine lid or similar.

Had a similar knowledge-less Kwick Fit moment when I got the receipt given back to me for Wheel balancing & Saw my car details printed on as Toyota MR2 1.4
Chuckled to myself all the way home at that one!
