360 - Turok Demo out now!!

huh? this is a demo of the 360 version of the brand new turok.

the previous versions were on the n64 on cartridges so i have no idea how big they were.

to be honest they jus kinda used the name turok and added and kept the dinos which is a little dissapointing.

Exactly mate! I LOVED the Turok series, and had all of them on N64 and Gamecube. Turok 2 Seeds of Evil was fantastic! Played it to death!

The weapons in the first 2 games were amazing and so much fun to use! WAAAAAY too over the top and that was brilliant!

The new Turok better have some ridiculous weapons!

Just played the demo.............not bad. Not great, but not bad. Get some outstanding weapons in there and it'll be cool!

i thought it was a total waste of 1.1gb of bandwidth, you look around super quick but the movement is super slow, like you're running through treacle, then you don't really see the dinos they just hit you and knock you on your ass, then they're are standing right in front of you and all you have to do is hold down the trigger until it's dead, not very challenging, oppurtunity missed in my eyes

plus, Slade? SLADE?!?! WTF?

yeah pcp totally agree. The movement is far too slow and looking around is far too fast! You can proberly change that in the options though... .....plays very average atm, hopefully the final finished game will be an improvement.

yeah thai i checked, you can make the looking around as slow as the running

its alrite but everytime i get a new weapon theres a brief second where i wait for it to expand into some giant man cannon followed by a second of dissapointment when it doesnt.

I quite enjoyed playing through this yesterday lol. I agree he runs slow as fook but hey ho.

I liked the bit where you have to knife all the bad guys. Although I got spotted and it all went nuts.
