As most of you know i had all my rear arches replaced as well as some tidying up of front wings and front valence.
Just for a recap here was the car before:
Here's after it came out of the bodyshop and i finally got a chance to give it a clean and polish (NB: I had all the original black bumpers, sills and eyebrows done too):

Looking good Lauren! Will look good with all the original black bits back on!

Yep know about the front wing. It had had a front ender at some point before i got it and the alignment is way out. On my list of things to do is to try and re-align the bonnet, not sure what i can do to the wing though.

Top stuff, now I see where you're coming from with those black bits! Tidy mk1a's are definately pretty rare now.
What's the total car+restorationage cost if you don't mind me asking?
I like it!

Cheers, John,
Costage was:
Car £350
Replacement panels £310
Bodyshop labour £550
total cost= £1210
Though i've probably got to add another £200 or so for odds and sods. For example £40 for an OEM aerial which i have now fitted. I am picking up my transfers/stickers (TOYOTA for the front bumper and Toyota MR2 for the bootlid) £40 for those! Also i've changed engine oil/gear oil etc.
Still after a few other items that i can't get through MrT anymore.
Re: MK1a- Restoration final pics
that looks tops! i havent seen any mk1a's before (well, in the flesh) all i see are b's. Looks like they did a good job with all the bits, arches etc!
Did the a's not have rear mud flaps? cus it doesnt have them on the original photo or on your new restored photos.

Cheers!
They did have mudflaps in black, i'm still trying to locate some. MrT want £60 each for mudflaps so i'll wait until i can find some off a MK1a thats being split for parts.
The Mk1a's are really starting to get rare these days as its a case of they either get restored or scrapped.
