Hi All,
I have been looking at the costs of upgrading my injectors and I don't like it!.............But I do have in my posession a spare fuel rail and set of injectors. My idea was to use the second set of injectors, injecting into my inlet manifold above each downcomer. It is a custom manifold anyway and tapping in some extra holes would be no problem.
My only concern is how the fuel would behave on its way down the inlet tubes. I presume it needs to remain as a suspension/mist in the inlet charge. If it was injected in early would it end up as a trickle?
Is anyone else running a fifth injector etc?
They would be mapped in using a GReedy E-Manage piggyback which can map an extra 4 injectors.

Its very common in the cossie world to run 8 injectors, in fact it was the only way until recently - 8 injectors, T4 and a pectel ECU.
Cant you just use an FPR to increase your fuel pressure and press the stock injectors a little harder?

I goin to the GT28RS and rods and pistons.
I wanna run nearer 1.5bar or however much that turbos comfortable at.
Im guessing the standard injectors run out of puff at 300bhp ish?
Im hoping for 350 ish, the 8 injector idea seems like fun and a bit of fiddling, which i do too much of anyway

It depends on your revision, rev3's will cope upto 350bhp at the fly not sure about rev1/2's i think its more like 300bhp.
