mk1 front suspension
any one near me got a mk1 drivers corner going spare? i had to take avoiding action to miss an old duffer yesterday and smacked mine up a high kerb.the front wheels at a v. strange angle now.the old git didnt even notice!! i will be stripping it down today but will probably( definitely) needs some parts.

I might have some Kev.
Basically i've stripped the complete front off the SC on both sides today and will be putting this onto my early car hopefully next weekend. If all goes well I ought to have a complete front suspension off the early car if this helps?

Thanks for the offer but its sorted.Jinxy and I tackled it today,the lower arm was twisted by about 60 degrees! Instead of being straight it was bent up almost to a rt angle. We had one in my garage and a new ball joint so all is well.From the angle of the wheel I was fearing more damage but got away lightly.Something has gone right for a change.
