Escort coming towards me on dual carriage way!

coming home last nite from Romford seeing Richie_G for a sub, I got off the A12 then came up the dual carriage way which goes past hylands house/park. Luckily i was in the left lane doing just 70mph, then all of a sudden I saw an Escort coming towards me (lane next to me) also doing like 70! He should have been on the OTHER side of the central Reserve!going his way!! But obviously you can cut through but the geezer was in my way going the wrong direction. AAAA!!!!!

Cant do much in the nite, looked in the mirror and just kept going, either he was a newby to chelmsford or what?? or under the influence.

i know that bit of road well, nice long road, you can generally see a bit into the distance but still, combined impact of 140mph? You dont walk away from that.

happened to me near Margate. went to pull out to overtake a lorry on a duel carridgeway when a car in the other carridgeway started flashing his lights like a looney. When I could see round the lorry I saw 2 old dears in a rover coming at me! Luckilly I was doing 40ish and they were about 30ish. Funny thing was they were oblivious to what was going on. Not as scary as your near miss (140mph, fook that) but got me worried

I had an old lady on our side of the dual carriageway once, obviously confused...dialled it as an emergency - they were more than a bit concerned

Well by the time ive 999 it, it would have been gone, It didnt scare me cuz i was in the left lane and he probably thought it was normal using it has another lane! It was dark so no reg-too quick.

But I felt like a computer: registering it in my mind,...does not comply:*!@~ looking at it-doesnt make sense if u know what I mean ha ha

Saw it carry on in the dark distance and other cars also in my lane going past it... anyway just thought I'd make this random comment.
