Hey there,
I've currently got HKS Iridium super fire racing sparks in my motor and they're due for replacement next week. The engine is stock apart from exhaust and induction and I was wondering if anyone could advise what grade of plug I should go for? I've seen TRD grade 7.8.9.10 and are the ones i'm running now a bit OTT for my car???
Any comments greatly appreciated, thanx
Stu

Plain old NGK's. Go for a grade 7. You can afford to replace them every few thousand miles if you want to.
I've used them in in every from a Metro Turbo, through XR4's, to a Rover Turbo's, to my Supra TT, and have never had a single problem with them. These 'performance' plugs are bull, IMO.

Re: Sparking Mad!
Heat ranges vary between plug manufacturers. I use 8s in my MR2 and they are a perfect biscuit brown on inspection, they dont foul like colder plugs and they also take the added stress of 125bhp of nitrous and 18psi of boost without any concerns.
I use NGK BCR8ES.
TRD plugs are just Denso re-branded Denso is a poorer quality plug when compared to NGK.
