does anyone know if iys possible to change the clutch without removing the engine and gearbox?

You don't have to remove the engine, but you have to remove the gearbox. Some loosening of engine mounts will be required too.

As lauren say's. Drop the box with engine in situ. The Left Hand engine mount needs to be removed though as it's attached to the gearbox.
Be carefull when you drop it too. It's bloody heavy - make sure it doesnt rest on the flywheel when it comes off too...you definetaly dont want to bend it in any way!
