yup, just follow the instructions on that weblink............. works fine!
Re: Shimless conversion using MRS spider buckets
Chris, I take it these are a direct replacement from REV2 shims and buckets, no mod required?
Was gunna order some as soon as I measure the ones I've got. Dont want a shim popping out at 8000rpm.
Get my Dad to use his staff discount...

drop straight in, just make sure u do you measuring carefully drop me an email before you order the sizes as i may have a few spare kicking about
Re: Shimless conversion using MRS spider buckets
I'm presuming for this mod you would
Knowing the lift of your new cams versus old cams, minus this difference from the original bucket thickness, and order the new bucket in the correct thickness avoiding putting thinner shims in?
Sorry a bit of a novice on engine rebuilds

na, bit more to it than that.
stick you new HKS or whatever cam in and check clearances, then work out what new solid lifter you need by looking at the clearance & size of the shim that was in that valve.
Re: Shimless conversion using MRS spider buckets
Will the higher lift cams mean less clearance though as they have longer lobes? Am I totally stoopid?
So would you measure each one to check for uneven wear?
Is it worth getting a new set of valves at this point. I understand rev3's and st205 gt4's have slightly larger valves and those on the st205 are sodium filled
