Has anyone got a copy of an English version for an MR2 Turbo?

Your help is much appreciated.

You might get hold of a US schedule but the US MR2 Turbo isnt the same as the Japanese Turbo's. Even the UK GT4 is slightly different, so I doubt that you will ever find an english maintenance schedule - you might be better off trying to get hold of a japanese version and getting it translated?.

Most owners use the GT4 maintenance schedule since its almost identical - well the engine is anyway and the rest is pretty much the same as a UK MR2 from a maintenance point of view.

Service schedule for the US cars is basically a service every 6k miles. The UK GT4's after 94 (ie equivalent to our Rev3s) stretched this I think to 9k miles, which is pushing it a bit IMHO - an oil change is usually well overdue by then.

There's other stuff you should do at a service too - you thinking of DIY'ing? I've been doing my own for the last few years - given a saturday afternoon its not tricky, and you get the satisfaction of knowing you've done the job well if you do it yourself.

Oil and filter I'll be happy to do, but even that's stretching it.

I'll leave the cambelt, pads, etc to a pro, although I really wouldn't mind giving it a go myself. :?.

How often would you recommend the oil changes?

Personally I wouldnt leave it anymore than 5000 miles.

Would depend on style of driving and any mods to the engine.

You may not drive hard all the time, but when you do its good
to know there is some good oil in the engine.

Pads are easy enough for a beginner, but the cambelt is a commitment!!
