that very similar what was happening to mine with the bar installed, lucky it didn't cause any perminant damager i was able to shape it flat again.

Not trying to slag this product off or anything i think its a good idea and i'll still use this on my more powerful mr2 but i feel it was wasted on my street car where fitand forget polly bushes would have done the job just as well.

Tim,

That really doesn't make sense to me unless you have really bad motor mounts and a doing hard lift OFFS of throttle at WOT causing the engine to lunge forward.
Under power, the V-Max bar is being pushed FORWARD, not being pulled BACKWARD, so you would not be pulling out with this item. You would be pushing in.

My damage was caused from the engine pulling UP on the mount, not backward. That's why the bottom is pulled out and the top is not.

Again, that makes absolutely no sense.

Exactly what i was thinking...... So i guess TB must have a problem elsewhere. Maybe he's doing lots of high speed starts in reverse gear [Mr. Green]

My customers are totally happy with their bars. Well made, well presented and does exactly what it says on the tin [Cool]

The engine spins the same direction even in reverse. [Laughing]

... again, the only way I could see the bar "causing" the front mount to pull out, is if you were putting down lots of power and suddenly lifted off throttle. Even then, I can't imagine it qould have enough strength to pull the mount out.

It just doesn't make sense to imply this bar caused that kind of damage to the front mount.

on the subject of vibration, there are similar units out there that are a damped unit rather than a solid bar like we are discussing here, for instance

the silk road engine torque damper

available from nengun

http://www.nengun.com/

and the HPI engine torque damper

available from japan parts

http://www.japanparts.com/db/partslist.php?dealer=2&car=31&middle=1&small=1

EDIT: heres another one
