Power FC Commander

Post by Grajey »

Anyone know where to get the commander for a reasonable price.

The ones I have seen are £300. :(

I already have the Power FC and the boost module. :D

Also, is it possible to get the Datalogit leads for the Commander and laptop separately from the software?

TIA

Here http://www.greenline.jp/catalogue/btlis ... 0Computers

28,000 yen is about 150 quid.

Dont understand your datalogit question though. If you have a datalogit you dont need a commander as the datalogit works with a laptop to tune the car.
Small turbos - they're not big and they're not clever!

Thanks for that Steve.

I could spend a few quid there!!!!!!

I'm trying to gauge wether it's better (cheaper? easier?) to get hold of a Commander than the Datalogit cable.

I already have the Datalogit software but no laptop connection lead.

Do you have the datalogit unit itself?

There are benefits to the datalogit in that you can operate other functions such as antilag through it. However you cant do somethings that the commander can do such as change the boost level while driving.

Depends on what you want to use it for really

I don't have the Datalog unit.
I assume you mean the cable, with the little white box, that connects the ECU to the laptop.
That's why I'm not sure which one to get or even if you can get the datalogit unit without the software.

The datalogit 'unit' is an interface box built by the datalogit guys... it's not just a cable adapter - there is a micro inside, the software is useless without it.

Buy the box - you get the software... simple as that really.

Hope that helps somehow...

I'd guessed the 'box' was more than just a connector.

I'm struggling to find outlets let alone prices. Anyone any idea of cost, outlets etc. for the Datalogit and software.

TIA
