Hi All,
I think this thread was covered on the old IMOC but I didn't get round to reading it! The carpet is getting damp possibly via the 2" black plastic/rubber cap in the floor - does this need popping out to be greased/siliconed? Any other common ingress points?
FANX!

If your heater matrix has sprung a leak this could also account for a wet footwell.

Re: Mk2 Soggy passenger footwell
OK - thanks guys I'll check further. The quantity of water has been fairly small and more annoying at this stage. The old dear is hitting the 13 year mark so I guess things like this crop up!

Is yours a T-bar? Could be a bit leaky.
Re: Mk2 Soggy passenger footwell
Nope, sorry I should have let you guys know its a hardtop. I'll try dry weather running and play with the heater dials to see if I can prompt any further action from heater matrix.............. yipee and Merry Xmas!
