Draven, where are you putting all your gauges? iam undecided, think of having them either in the dash infront of the passenger or in the din slots (doing a custom carbon fibre jobby to hold 5 gauges), might even change the original clocks and replace them with digital ones, ie. digital volt meter, digi petrol gauge and replace the water 1 with the air/fuel ratio one.

You would benefit cusyour will know your temps and pressures.. If you see something to high or low your know something is wrong.. Makes it easier to problem solve. Plus gauges look wicked in the car.. :D

Kerazee, no real closing date as of yet. We are wanting to get ppl to make numbers up before we get a proper order/quote

is this still going? Why are the guages so cheap - some I've seen are £180!! Is it cos they're small and mechanically operated?

are these actually any good? does anyone have any experience of how responsive and accurate they are?

Also there's no mention of fuel pressure?

A word of warning guys... this is all just my own opinion and experience...

I bought 3 gauges from that MostWanted guy a while back. Very quick delivery. Unfortunately 2 of the gauges were knackered, magically he became very slow to respond to emails - previously responses had been very quick. He only finally responded when I initiated a paypal claim. Before doing so, I was very careful to check that he had been active on eBay - listing items, leaving feedback etc.... After the claim he finally got in touch and started trying to blame my fitting, saying that he wanted me to take them to a professional to install. I ended up sending video clips of the problems and he finally agreed to accept them back and swap them.

Problem was to get them there quick was ££'s and I didn't want to wait weeks and weeks - dealing with him post-sale was such a pain that in the end I threw them in the shed and didn't bother with them any more.

Unfortunatley, despite him telling me he had never had any problems with any other gauges his feedback had a few comments from people who had faulty gauges and never got anywhere with him...

Just to add feedback I have the same Boost gauge and AFR, been sitting around for over a year and finally got round to fitting it.

Seems spot on from what I can tell, reads as I would expect.

Just an quick review :)

Stuart

Is it right that you would need an adaptor for the Oil pressure and Oil temp? if so where could I get one from? I may join this GB then 8)
I asked God for a bike, but I know God doesn't work that way. So I stole a bike and asked for forgiveness.
