Sony headunit removal

Hi,

When I bought my 2 it came with a Sony mini disk unit, I have just got round to buying a radio expander and I now want to fit it, I took a trip to Halfrauds and bought some Sony head unit removal keys.

For the life of me I cannot find where these keys fit I have tried the side where they have similar holes but it just does not release the head unit, has anyone got any advice preferably with pics as I need to get the head unit out.

The headunit is bolted in, you have to remove the whole dash panel around the stereo, not a big job just annoying !

The one fitted is a single din after market unit so will this one still be bolted in?

Yes, it'll still be bolted in.

you might find it easlier to fit it at the ariel end in the boot!

hahahaha..a few weeks ago i sat trying to do the same thing..until i just caught a glimpse of the bolts...well at least it aint that easy for some chavvie to nick.
