help please

i cant seem to find where to get a fog light bulb, been to the stealership and they didnt know mr2 had steering front fogs (import) so they cant get me a bulb,

does any1 know where i can get 1 or a part number for toyota 2 get me 1

The bulb that's in my 'steering fog' is a Halogen 12V 55W.
Don't know about size n stuff though.

yeah thats the bulb i need but the stealership cant find wot type it is and other parts places cant get me 1, im going mad trying to find 1

Check out this site, according to their bulb finder you need a H3

The existing bulb should have a # on it you can check.

i have the part number for toyota as rogue systems were very helpful, wil post it up later

Yeah, I ordered some H3's from them then found out I actually needed H3C's. They're more or less the same bulb but with different connectors.

If the H3 bulb fits into the lampholder, you could easily convert it. All you would need to do is make up a short lead ( same length as the existing one) connect one end to the base of the lamp or to the retaining spring (hard to tell from the pic but looks as if its held on with a small screw) crimp a male push connector to the other end and connect both wires to your harness..... done deal, save hassle getting replacements in future and probably cheaper
