b*****d  Hard luck mate!

I curbed mine last August, in fact I curbed both near side alloys

And they'd only been refurbed in June - well just before I bought the car!

I've only just got round to getting them touched up and am picking up one of them on Monday and swapping the other to be done by Thursday

Gonna cost £100

I live down South so you get raped down here!!

Not sure whether to get mine sorted for sale as I'll be replacing them with the Blitz wheels or just sell em as is :?

Guess it depends on:

how bad the damage is
how much it would cost to repair
how much you'll sell 'em for with and without repairing
...........

Cheers.

by the way, wanna see some pics of your Blitz's once you get 'em :D

Yeh, in that case you'll probably save money by not getting it done. Worst case is that you have to take off as much as what it would cost to get it repaired, but at least that would save you the hassle of having to do it!

Since its on the rim, could be a cheap cleanup??? Don't take too much off the price

Probably want around £700. They're only 4 months old!!!! 8)

What a bu99er!

There's nothing worse than bracing for the horrible grinding noise you know is inevitable!
A place not too far from me do fantastic Alloy wheel repair including alloy welding spraying etc.
I took a 'very' badly kerbed wheel in which had a 1" long chunk missing.
3 days later it was ready for collection and looked brand spanking new at a respectable cost of £50.00

www.alloywheelrepair.co.uk

On a side note I've had my wheels just over a year and I'm UNBELIEVABLY careful not to venture near a kerb, there absolutely spotless after a whole year and something I'm quite proud of.
Anyway had new tyres fitted yesterday and it turns out one of the wheels is buckled!!
WTF?? > New wheel time :x ££ !! Grr

Rowland have you rang www.alloywheelrepair.co.uk to see if he can repair the bent wheel?

I can recommend that place too, i had a wheel repaired there which was cracked and bent in 2 places, came back looking brand new. They even sold the wheels for me (as i bought a new set from them).

Not yet Danny, I only found out on Friday afternoon.
I've got to drop another alloy wheel off for an imoc member to be fixed asap so I guess the owner Kev can take a look at mine then.
I guess it depends on to what degree it's buckled, something he can only class as repairable/knackered by taking a look and giving it a spin.
