Look what I nearly bought.......

fast MR2

For sale in Japan, its a SEP 1995, so would have to wait 1 year to get it registered without an SVA as i dont think they could con it was standard :D but has now gone to the Carribean

Has exactly the same mods as my car:

HKS 3037s Turbo
Running 450BHP @ 1.5 bar
Mine has larger injectors, deeper IC but doesnt look as nice as this one....So will be interesting to what mine is running. I found out that it was running 1.7 bar in Japan and not 2.0 bar so I have turned that down.......... :D

King Buyer have some pretty sorted cars...bit suspect on prices though, I was looking at importing from them a few years back and they weren't too helpful.

Plus buying a modded car from Japan is a can of worms...not always but most of the time...if it's broke in any way, you're screwed. I brought over an R33 GTR with twin HKS turbos etc etc, should have been good for over 500hp. put it on the rollers and it was making 230hp!....and it still isn't right. So I'd stay well clear unless you've seen the car in the flesh and driven it ;)

I disagree

I have bought 2 cars from Japan and in the process of buying another. Both have come across in excellent condition, and my current MR2 'should' be producing 450BHP. All mods done in Japan by a reputable tuner. :D
