Went to 3 Sisters which is a kart track to do a trackday. This is the first time BookaTrack have been there and it did make a change for me driving a circuit i haven't been on before.
It was torrential rain for much of the day which made it a bit of a laugh really, with 12 corners in the space of a mile i've never thrashed 2nd gear so much!
It couldn't be much wetter, but i was pleased as i haven't done a wet trackday in my car before so it was important for me to understand how it handled in the wet and as predicted i have to say it really was pretty good.

Was a good laugh drifting, though had to be careful as there isn't loads of runoff:
Having a print of this one which was great whilst i held it:
Though when it got to this point i knew what was going to happen next.
With the inevitable
Twas really hard work staying ahead of the FWD cars!

Looks fun - did you get the thunderstorm this morning ( it hit us at about 9 ) What do you think the circuit would be like in the dry, as a few people reckon its a bit cramped for cars ?

Yes we did. It was nearly dry in teh afternoon and was obviously much faster. I enjoyed it, but I have to say i'm a big circuit fan (ie Spa, Ring etc).
I don't think its big enough for a club day really. It really wouldn't suit the turbo for example. My car was fine there, though it did feel really quite odd going up and down to the redline in 2nd gear for the most part.
I think BaT will do some more days there so keep an eye on the BaT site.

mate takes his caterfieldham to 3 sisters quite regularly, says its his fave track in uk, though i think he just means its just down the road so its the one i use most often
