Maybe not the best idea but it worked for me... I painted my badge black and when putting it back on just used glue, and put some around the two pins too

I did consider glue, wondered if there was another option (i have a habit of sticking myself to things)

Will find some more normal glue.

Can't you use some thin double sided tape, something along the lines of this, and then cut with a fine blade?:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3M-x-8MM-AUTO-ACRYLIC-FOAM-DOUBLE-SIDED-ATTACHMENT-ADHESIVE-TAPE-NUMBER-PLATE/292180967849?epid=560248578&hash=item440757c1a9:g:5d8AAOSwiA9ZZnTs

It's probably what I'll be doing for mine. Or maybe some of the 'padded' double sided tape [Think]

I think some sort of padded double sided tape was what was used before.

Maybe the double sided tape is the better option, its what was on the car before the badge fell off.
