But a very useful marketplace.

It's actually a really good environment for buying. Everyone has facebook, messaging on apps. You can (most of the time) see the face of who you're buying from, and arrange collection.

As long as you apply common sense, it's an excellent medium for buying things these days. Ebay but free.

Except when it was first sold, the issues were actually stated in the original post. The new owner thought they'd make a quick buck apparently, by buying it with known issues, then simply re-listing it and neglecting to mention them. People need to be aware of this.

My 2nd mr2 was a rev 3 turbo with 40k miles. I did the bolt on mods, fitted new wheels and a full tom's kit. I then gave her a respray, running maybe 300 bhp and i had her for over 3 years, my perfect car, power was just about right for a mr2.
One day i was overtaking a dickhead who put his footdown when i went for the overtake, for some reason i couldn't engage 4th gear smoothly and killed the syncro, totally gutted and when i choose to move on to higher powered cars i felt forced to break her as 4th gear would sometimes pop out....

I miss that car, bigger regret than losing a car with 200 bhp more.

One more thing, in 42 months of ownership that car only ever needed the ecu relay, nothing else, not even a lightbulb... 8)

Lol my friend just sent me the link on Facebook. Would love to buy another MR2 but doubt I'll ever get one for the price I bought it first time round.

Which I guess is the same reason I'm holding onto the supra [-(

i regret mine dying through the rust monster. Breaking it as I didn't want someone to buy it and then sell it on without stating the issues with it or doing a crap repair job and punting it on as better condition. Waiting on my premium membership coming through so I can advertise on here
