Screamer pipe problem...
Hi guys I have a t67 greddy turbo and when at max boost the screamer is no where to be heard... Nothing... Why is this??
Re: Screamer pipe problem...
Turn down the boost then... more screamer
Re: Screamer pipe problem...
It means the wastegate isn't opening - do you're likely not seeing eno ugh boost to bleed off. What psi are you reading?

Exhaust to loud ? Lol
If you see an MR2 with a raised engine cover, the bottom line is it's probably faster than your car.

I get to boost pressure it's about 1.2bar and no when a screamer comes in you can hear it... Mine you cannot... Also does anyone know with hks 272 cams what the kpa should be on idle as mine is 60 kpa on idle but when moving and revving it's absolutely fine... Unsure if there is a bigger problem or its simply the cams....

mad question, this external wastegate, it is vented to atmos, and not rerouted into the exhaust right?
i would suggest looking at the vac hoses on the wastegate and checking they are plumbed in correctly....
also worth pumping in some air to one of the EW ports to hear it open and close (engine off obviously).
here my tial just for reference
