As per title has anyone fitted the pinion/valve assembly from a roadster into a Mk2 rack? reason being the Mk2 has 6 teeth and mk3 has 7.

Couple of reference threads here

http://www.mr2oc.com/6-mkii-90-99-na-turbo/362045-quick-ratio-pinion-gear-install.html

http://www.mr2.com/forums/threads/94365-Quick-Turn-Steering-Gear

I'm currently rebuilding my rack at the minute and giving this a go. Only problem i've noticed and something that isn't mentioned in those threads (perhaps different on LHD?) is the diameter of the pinion shaft is smaller so i'll need to sleeve my rack to fit one.
