TSS : Roadster Roll Protection

Post by ribbo »

Hello,

I'm looking to doing a few TSS days and they mandate MSA rollover protection for Mr2 Roadsters, I guess that's why not many mk3's enter.

Looking around I cant see anyone MR2'y who sells them (Rogue, Fensport etc) but my mr2 scene knowledge is about 10 years out of date. So before I ring around cage making people tomorrow (asking for trackday/sprinting/hillclimb suitable msa rear bars/hoops/cages) I thought I might throw it open to the IMOC floor to see if they can recommend someone.

I think safety devices is your best bet for rollover cages..

You will have a blast at tss, wiah i had cgaes my mk3 rather than swapping to a mk2, although that was still fun

If you want a full cage then I'd expect Rogue to be able to sort you out. If you just want a half cage then I'm not sure there are any off the shelf options in the UK. There have been the odd short runs or group buys from the US though however so it may be worth engaging with some of the mk3 communities to see if there is anything around second hand

Performance and protection do a full and half cage for the mk3.

It's the same one that Rogue supply.

Worth a call to Patrick at Rogue, his prices are reasonable for the cage.
