Hi guys,
So was poking around the engine bay when i got a few minutes to look for reasons why my car might be misfiring. I noticed a loose vacuum line that came from the inlet manifold off a t-junction bit. I noticed the t-junction bit said greddy. The only thing that says greddy was above it so i immediately looked around it and seen the obvious bit where the line should go.
My question is can anyone tell me what this greddy part is??
Also would a vacuum leak and possible unmetered air cause my misfire/fuel pump relay to trigger??
When i get time tomorrow i'll put it all back together and see if anything changes. I've attached pictures and if anyone knows what it is let me know!

that is likely a boost gauge sensor.
no lines should be open.
the line that is open looks like the line going to map sensor.
on a rev1/2 is only controls the standard boost gauge and fuel cut.
people do disable it, however it should be blocked not left open.

just seen the purple map sensor in your pic, so i assume a rev3+ car?
is the line to this purple sensor still intact? on a rev3+ its much much more important as controls everything.
the line you see open, where does it go? map sensor? fuel pressure reg?
theres only 2 things in that area

What purple bit are you talking about??
I think the line goes into that sensor i've got in the picture the other two lines are already plumbed in. Would there be rough running/idle issues if it wasn't connected?

Wait just understood about the purple map sensor. No it's plumbed into the inlet manifold so no issue there!
The open line must go into that greddy sensor. Then the other lines are plumbed into the bottom of the intake manifold and some other lower part.

The greddy part itself is a 3bar map sensor i've found out

If that's what it is do you have an aftermarket ecu?
Only reason to run a 3bar map sensor is to push behond 1.7bar of boost. Or if stock one can't be read on said ecu.
What's the wiring side hooked up to?
Is it tee-d into the stock map sensor line? I still suspect it's just a boost gauge sensor.
I found a supra 3bar sensor in my old car, but that was a huge specced 400hp monster straight from Japan.
Only reason to run a 3bar map sensor is to push behond 1.7bar of boost. Or if stock one can't be read on said ecu.

Yes it's using an apexi power fc.
Not sure about the wiring side I'll check later, all I know is it goes under the inspection panel and through the firewall.
I don't think it is plumbed into the purple map sensor, I'll connect the open line into the greedy sensor to close it off and see if it remedies my running issues.
