premiums?

Hi people. How much are you paying for insurance on your mk1 sc. A few details of age,milage,value& company etc would be handy & any other info would be jolly appreciated! Thank you!

What other people pay is interesting but doesn't really help you as insurance prices are dictated by your circumstances and vehicle use.

Your best bet if you are looking for a cheap quote is to phone a few specialist insurers and shop around as much as you can.
If you can't see the angle, you're in trouble.

my conversion from NA to SC cost me an extra £36

£136 with 3 points with 4000 miles and I live in a medium risk area. I'm 32.

Adrian Flux is my insurer.

My last quote was approximately £260 with all mods declared, 12K miles a year with full business use on top. But I do live in a pretty good postcode area and have 8/9 years NCB to apply.

Can go through specialist insurer, which is good for things like making sure that modifications are covered, but also worth the usual money supermarket, compare the market, go compare etc to get options.
