Kenny I did overlook track/drift cars etc. to be honest, I would agree that if they're just going to be 'used' then it doesn't matter what wheels you're running \:D/ When I go drifting in the MX5 I just take 4 sets of whatever crap I can find that'll bolt on (including 2 pairs of steelies from the roadside). I was making a broad statement but suppose was directly addressing the 'show/modified road car/Golf' segment rather than track cars :thumleft:

I'd love them, but I just don't have that sort of moo-nay lying around. Takes a special sort of person willing to spend that amount on a set of wheels, they cost more than my daily driver (more than twice as much!)

They will hold their value though, so even if you run them for 5 years and decide to sell (as long as you look after them) then you'll probably get even more than you paid for! :D

Bump for Adam - known him for something like 10 years now and can advise anyone to tryst him and the parts he sells.

I agree 100% with the price and they will definitely hold their value as probably the most sought after Japanese wheel. I would have them in a heart beat but I have far too many wheels in my possession right now.....

Just for comparison of fake Vs real, I have genuine Desmond Regamasters and Rota did a direct copy of them.
The Rota's weigh an absolute tonne compared to the genuine original wheels and the more performance focused owners out there will know that the unsprung weight reduction through fitting light wheels is one of the biggest and best weight savings you can make on a car..

Yawn
Have they sold yet?
I'll give £550 if they haven't
I can offer what I like when I like
To me there worth £550 and that's it
I don't give a xxxx who made them or how much the will be in 500 years time
Get with reality there worth what somebody will pay
And if someone will pay a £1000 for them in my opinion they have a lot more money then sense lol

Touché. :D - http://images.memes.com/meme/1082900

As for what somebody will pay, clearly somebody thought this was worth $106.5 million because that was the price it fetched - CLICKY
That I might think otherwise and it was only worth $53.25 million means diddly squat.

GLWS Adam. :thumleft:

TO THE ADMIN

The OP's post has now seemed to turn into an opinion poll rather than a for sale thread and though I know the OP very well so am bias in this case due to being a JDM alloy fan boy myself. I'm sure that everyone has an opinion like they do a bumhole could the irrelevant posts including those with my opinion in it please be wiped clean and the thread cleaned up

Many thanks

Ooooh I love a bit of free marketing and PR. 😂

Thanks for the offer PaulHarry. I'm not overly concerned about selling them, I don't need the money or space.

I originally imported these wheels from Japan with the help from an IMOC member. I had to buy two pairs of wheels in order to get the right spec for an MR2.

I'm only selling as I did some silly arch mods to squeeze 10's on the back.

I think I'll close this thread off, you either love genuine original parts and understand the price of not, if they were bigger they'd be sitting on my daily driver C63, but alas that's another story.

Good luck with getting some wheels.
