Cheers mate, I've no plans to change anything, just looking forward to getting the welding sorted now.

Gazza_DJ wrote:AD08R's are a solid choice, still work in the rain, and can handle some standing water. Best tyre out there this side of the full on just about road legal track tyres IMO. Only downside is the high wear rate so not ideal for daily duties if you do significant mileage. Perfect for fun. Will be getting a set for my 16inch Advans at some point

Hey mate, yep, good to catch up!
Air cleared!
We left about 1430. Beat all the traffic and got home about 1700.
Yeah, long day! Got up at half 3 and out the door for quarter to 5! Roughly 300 mile round trip.

It's not so much the mileage, it's the getting up at half 3 and starting up both a M140 and Decatted MR2 turbo with Japspeed exhaust at twenty to 5 on a Sunday morning!!
If your up everyone's up hahaha

I can tell you from experience that these tyres are brilliant, I've never driven
on a tyre that gives you so much feedback. Two or so miles to warm up
but when up to proper temp ! my god they stick. Will never change !
Gareth's right as well, surprisingly good water dispersion.
