I bought a brand new one for the turbo model so the n/a may be different but i hated it, sounded very quiet to me and the silencers weren't centred (or maybe the pipes were different lengths(can't remember)) which really annoyed me, i sold it after just a few months.

Not to quite
I've seen herd mongoose on a v6 and it was to quite and boring
Bought mine brand new from rhd Japan cost £500ish all in

I've got one on my Rev1 NA and like it compared to some exhausts I've had on NA's - it's quiet when you want it to be, so for me when I'm driving back from a night shift and don't want to wake the neighbourhood, I can make it almost totally silent with light throttle control. It also cruises really well without a deafening drone. However, if I'm going for a proper drive, then it sounds just right, quite loud but in a good way. The build quality is also really good.

I have had a Mongoose on my Rev3 NA for about 3 years. I think it sounds good and is very solid and secure. Not too noisy on motorway either no real drone.

Only negative is that it doesn't sit quite straight, one side looks slightly higher than the other. Mine has the rolled tips so shows more than those with the slash cut tips. Every Mongoose on an NA I have seen is the same, it does annoy me, but others don't notice unless I point it out.
